Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
T9 Keyboard is published by Dahmani Limited, which is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact us at support@dahmani.me.
2. The keyboard
- What you type is processed on your device only. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.
- The keyboard part of the app makes no network connections.
- Words the keyboard learns from your typing are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. You can clear them in the app's Settings. Uninstalling the app also removes them.
- The app does not request microphone, location, contacts, photo or storage permissions.
When you turn on any third-party keyboard, Android shows a standard warning that the keyboard may be able to collect the text you type. Android shows this warning for every third-party keyboard, whatever it does with your data. It does not mean that T9 Keyboard sends your typing anywhere. As described above, it does not.
3. The companion app and ads
The companion app shows ads through Google AdMob. To do this, AdMob may collect and use your advertising ID, device information, IP address and information about how you use the app and ads. Google processes this data as an independent controller under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from ads.
- Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. We show a consent form through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) where the law requires it. You can review or change your choice when the app offers privacy options.
- Opt out or reset. In your device settings, under Privacy and then Ads, you can delete your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation. You can also review Google's ad controls at adssettings.google.com.
4. Purchases and Pro
Pro subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled by Google Play Billing. We use RevenueCat to manage purchases and unlock Pro features. RevenueCat receives your purchase history and an anonymous app user ID so that it can restore your purchases. We never see your payment card details. Google handles payment.
5. What we do not collect
- No account or sign-in, and no name, email or contact list from your device.
- No microphone recordings and no location data.
- No analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK or attribution SDK of our own.
The ad and purchase services described above collect the data stated in sections 3 and 4.
6. Children
T9 Keyboard is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, contact us and we will help you have it removed as far as we can.
7. How long we keep data
- Learned words stay on your device until you clear them or uninstall the app. We do not hold a copy.
- Ad and purchase data are kept by Google and RevenueCat under their retention policies. You can ask us to help with requests about them.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU and UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. We do not sell personal information. Google may use ad data for personalised advertising unless you opt out (section 3), which California law may treat as sharing. To make a request, email support@dahmani.me. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
